How does Safeway
Drivers work?
It's simple. Our chauffeur drives his or her personal
vehicle to your home, office, or wherever you may be;
parks the vehicle, and then uses your car to become your
personal chauffeur.
How long can
I use my chauffer?
Your chauffeur is yours for however long you desire his
or her service. Once you've satisfied our four hour minimum
requirement.
When does billable
time start?
Billable time starts after our driver arrives at the address
you designated for pick up and completes a 10 minute inspection
of your vehicle. Our drivers will arrive 10-15 minutes
prior to your requested pick up time to complete this
required inspection, and you will not be billed for those
minutes.
How do I get billed?
Our clients are billed at an hourly rate. Please check

What happens to
my car while I’m at my meeting, appointment, dinner,
etc.?
Your chauffeur remains with your car for the entire service
period; or you may request to be escorted in the
venue for added security.
If my meeting
or engagement finishes earlier or later than expected,
how do I contact my driver?
You may contact your driver to inform him or her of changes
via his or her cellular phone.
How do I pay for
service?
Charges are billed (at the end of your service period)
to the credit card provided to secure your reservation.
No cash payments are accepted.

offer discounts?
Yes, we offer various types of discounts. See our Discounts
page for a full description.
Are your chauffeurs
employees or contracted?
Our chauffeurs are employees of
our company, an not contracted. We do utilize affiliate
companies to provide limousine and charter bus services.
What is standard
attire for my chauffeur?
The chauffeur’s attire is at the client’s
request. Upon requests for formal attire, a black suit,
white shirt and black tie is worn, and a black polo sport
shirt and black pants are worn upon requests for casual
attire.
Can I reserve
the same driver whenever I use Safeway?
Yes, you may request the same driver every time. We will
make every effort to ensure your request is accommodated
whenever possible.
Can I reserve
a car and a driver with Safeway?
Yes, we can accommodate all requests for sedans,
SUV's, vans, limos and charter buses.
Why does my chauffeur
have to perform an inspection of my vehicle?
The inspection is performed for your safety and protection.
It is to assess whether the vehicle is in lawful condition
to be driven.
What items are
checked?
Your seatbelts, insurance, registration, inspection, lights,
turn signals, horn, tires and brakes.
Should
I tip my chauffeur?
Safeway Drivers does not add a gratuity to our service
fees. Tipping is appreciated, but completely voluntary
and at the client’s discretion; the industry standard
is 20%.
What do I do
if I want to cancel my reservation?
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up 24
hours in advance. You will be charged a $75 fee for
any cancellation or change made with less than 24 hours
notice.
How far in advance
can I make a reservation?
All reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance
but can be made up to 3 months in advance.
Can I make a
same day reservation?
Yes, you must however, call our office to do so, and we
will make every attempt to accommodate you.
What about insurance?
Insurance laws in the state of Texas dictate that coverage
follows the vehicle regardless of the driver, provided
that the driver is insurable. Your insurance will provide
coverage in the event of an accident.
We have had ZERO incidents or accidents since opening
in February 2005!!
