Miller Outdoor Theater – Miller Outdoor Theatre is Houston's premier outdoor theater for the performing arts. Free performances run March through October. Miller Outdoor Theatre offers the most diverse professional entertainment of any Houston performance venue, including classical music, jazz, ethnic music and dance, ballet, Shakespeare, musical theater, classic films and much more. Relax in the covered seating area or enjoy a pre-performance picnic on the hillside. Miller Outdoor Theatre's BYOB policy allows guests to bring their own beverages and food to performances. *Glass containers and bottles are prohibited.

Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Surrounded by a lush forest, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater that provides the Greater Houston region with an array of performing arts and contemporary entertainment in a setting of unparalleled beauty.

Minute Maid Park – A jewel in the crown of the majestic downtown Houston skyline, Minute Maid Park has become a welcome home for the Houston Astros and has ushered in a new era of Major League sports in the city. Minute Maid Park's retractable roof technology brought open-air baseball to Houston for the first time in 35 years, and the natural grass surface and classic architecture provided Minute Maid Park the atmosphere of the great ballparks of baseball's Golden age.

Reliant Stadium/Arena – Within the expanding universe of stadiums, arenas, convention centers and entertainment venues, there's big, there's bigger, there's biggest. and then there's Reliant Park - North America's largest and most versatile campus of event venues, located in a city where adaptability, hospitality and distinct service are all Texas-sized - Houston.

Houston Theater District – Houston is one of only five cities with permanent professional resident companies in all of the major performing arts disciplines--opera, ballet, music, and theater. Home to nine world-class performing arts organizations, the Theater District is second only to New York in the number of theater seats in a concentrated area.

Jones Hall – Dominating an entire city block, Jones Hall is stunning with its curving travertine marble facade, an exterior rectangle of eight-story columns, and a brilliantly lit grand entrance. The classically elegant interior dazzles visitors. More than 400,000 visitors attend some 250 events annually. Jones Hall is a monument to the memory of Jesse Holman Jones, a towering figure in Houston during the first half of the 20th century.

Wortham Theater – Built at the height of the 1980s oil bust, Wortham Center was funded entirely by the private sector. More than 3,500 donors contributed $66 million to build a new performing arts mecca amid a period of job losses and recession. It was a true community effort -- 2,200 individuals gave $100 or less. What's more, the 437,500-square foot facility was completed four months ahead of schedule and $5 million under budget, a testament to Houston's trademark ability to get things done. At the time, Wortham Center was the first major opera house built in the U.S. in more than 25 years. The building is the legacy of the late Gus S. Wortham, the founder of American General Insurance Company whose foundation contributed $20 million to the capital campaign. The Cullen Foundation and the Brown Foundation chipped in with $7.5 million and $6 million, respectively, in a demonstration of the collective strength of Houston's philanthropic spirit. Today, Wortham Center is home to Houston Ballet and Houston Grand Opera.

Hobby Center – The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts is a must-see, must-attend, state-of-the-art entertainment complex. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern, this $102 million shining star illuminates Houston's Theater District. The Hobby provides the ultimate experience for cultural-connoisseurs with two opulent, acoustically distinguished theaters - Sarofim Hall and Zilkha Hall, Michael Cordua's Artista restaurant and its own above-ground 800-car parking garage. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, the Hobby's sweeping architecture plays up its fabulous location. The glistening facade features 60-foot-high glass walls affording exciting vistas of Houston's skyscrapers, interspersed with the lush greenery of Tranquility Park and the distinguished deco-era City Hall.
